Long before she was invoked by sorcerers or described as the Queen of Ghosts, Hekate held a very different place in the ancient world. Her earliest identity was not sinister or occult. Instead, she was a protector, a guide, and the sacred embodiment of the spaces where one thing becomes another.

Curses have been a part of human culture since ancient times. They are a form of magic used to bring harm or misfortune to someone or something. Curses can be used to express anger, jealousy, or revenge and can be used to protect or punish. They can be spoken aloud or written down and can be used to cause physical or psychological harm.

Is the Mothman of Point Pleasant simply a cryptid monster or is it an ancient creature that has existed in many cultures throughout history? What is the purpose of such beings? In many cultures, they are sky beings and have been deified. As many believe that the Mothman is a harbinger of death, there is some historical backing for such belief as in the case of the Ekek or Harpies.
